§ 40-686. Prohibition of unpolluted waters.

Unpolluted water, including, but not limited to: cooling water, process water or blow-down from cooling towers or evaporative coolers, shall not be discharged into utility sewers without prior approval of the board and the MMSD, or into intercepting sewers without prior approval of the MMSD. Such approval shall be granted when no reasonable alternative method of disposal is available and upon payment of applicable charges and fees and compliance with conditions as required by the board and MMSD.
