§ 40-129. Deposits returned.

The city may require a security deposit as a precondition for temporary connection to its water service or for use of city equipment incident thereto. All monies deposited as security for payment of charges arising from the use of temporary water supply on a metered basis, or for the return of a sprinkling valve wheel or reducer, shall be refunded to the applicant when the use of water has terminated, all charges have been paid, and the wheel and reducer have been returned undamaged.
