§ 40-97. Minimum service contract period.

The minimum service contract period shall be one year unless otherwise specified by special contract or in the applicable rate schedule. Where a customer, at his/her request, has been disconnected prior to expiration of his/her minimum contract period and his/her account is not delinquent and thereafter he/she requests the reconnection of service in the same or some other location, a reconnection charge shall be collected. The minimum contract period is renewed with each reconnection.
